Another paper in ‘Frontiers in Psychology’!

Embodied cognition – a perspective joining cognitive with physical aspects of human functioning – gained lots of attention recentely. Katarzyna Cantarero and Michał Parzuchowski together with Karolina Dukała from our Centre tested whether hand-over-heart gesture diminishes other-oriented dishonesty, as previous research would suggest. After the initial confirmation, they checked under more strict methodological retrenchment to find the replicatiom failed.

In addition to shedding some light on embodied cognition, the paper undertake an important matters of carefulness in study planning and neccessity of replications. Full version of the article available at this site. Highly recommended!
