May multitasking performance be somehow dependent on the level of need for closure (NFC)? – according to new studies by the members of our Centre, yes! Ewa Szumowska and Małgorzata Kossowska together with Arne Roets (Ghent University, Belgium) recently published a paper on that in ‘Motivation and Emotion’. According to their reasoning, a key feature are task rules – when they impose multitasking strategy, high NFC people follow and perform better.
But there’s of course much more to be said – you can get familiar with the full version of paper at the site.
