What is the reason for growing support for the extreme right-wing parties in many countries of the world? Where does the distrust in democracy and international integration come from? Traditional explanations referring to the socio-economic factors, religiosity, or private beliefs are confronted with the interpretation based on the open-mindedness and closed-mindedness dimension.
