A new paper by the members of our lab!
Małgorzata Kossowska, Paulina Szwed, and Gabriela Czarnek have described a series of three studies, in which they examined the link between ideology, trust in scientists, and attitudes toward vaccines. They found that during the pandemic, right-wing ideology predicted lower trust in scientists, and that, in turn, explained less positive attitudes toward vaccines. Also, an interesting mechanism of perception of scientists as elites affecting trust has been proposed.
