This year, between June 30th and July 4th, we had the pleasure of hosting the 19th General Meeting of the European Association of Social Psychology. We welcomed over 1700 guests and organized 11 parallel panels, along with numerous inspiring satellite events. Prior to the conference, participants had the opportunity to engage in one of ten preconferences and The EASP Brief Summer School, featuring outstanding lecturers from around the world.
The conference served as an excellent platform to stay abreast of the latest findings in the field of social psychology, with symposia, blitz, and poster sessions providing valuable insights. During lunchtime events, attendees had the chance to discuss pressing issues, such as conducting research during the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia’s war on Ukraine, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion within the discipline.
Beyond the scientific program, participants enjoyed a Welcome Reception at two picturesque venues: the Garden of the Archaeological Museum and the Courtyard of Collegium Maius. Additionally, a Farewell Dinner was held. For those seeking excitement in sports, we organized a traditional football match.
The conference not only offered the opportunity to update one’s knowledge of current trends in social psychology but also provided a valuable networking platform to connect with new colleagues. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants!
