My main research interests are focused on clinical disorders. I study cognitive attention biases and everyday functioning among people with emotional disorders. I am also very interested in the validity of depression diagnosis. As a qualified psychotherapist I join my research activity with psychotherapy practice with patients.

- Cognitive biases in depressive and anxiety disorders. Attentional training as therapeutic influence. ETIUDA scholarship awarded to Marzena Rusanowska by the National Science Centre (2014-2016). 6- months internship in College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, USA under supervision of prof. John Nezlek.
- Attention bias modification and depressive disorders. HARMONIA grant awarded to dr hab. prof. SWPS Izabela Krejtz by National Science Centre (2012-2015). Contract number: UMO-2012/04/M/HS6/00470. In cooperation with Marzena Rusanowska (UJ), Paweł Holas (UW) and John Nezlek (College of William and Mary) as co-authors and executors.
