Why do we choose scapegoats – what is so special about them, what mechanism lies behind that process and can we replace it with something else? Marcin Bukowski from our Centre talked to Szymon Łucyk from Tygodnik Powszechny (weekly magazine) on that subject, using results of his studies to explain the role that feeling of control may play in blaming outgroups for effects of the economic crisis.
