The CSCS is a partner of the newly awarded ERASMUS + KA2 ELCRA (Environmental Literacy in Higher Education Context for preventing radicalization in climate activism) coordinated by the University of Siena. The CSCS group is led by Erica Molinario and includes Joanna Grzymała – Moszczyńska, Gabriele Di Cicco, Katarzyna Jasko, and Laura Prislei (visiting PhD student from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy).
ELCRA project (Environmental Literacy in Higher Education Context for preventing radicalization in climate activism) aims at understanding college students’ attitudes and views on environmental sustainability and combating climate change, youth participation in environmental movements, and the emerging phenomenon of radicalization related to environmental activism. From this knowledge, the project aims to help counter and prevent these phenomena by creating university contexts that foster active engagement in green transition and discourage college students’ participation in violent and radicalized actions.
